Publish your document

Lucidpress offers a wide variety of publishing and sharing options so that you can spread your collateral quickly and effectively. You can publish your document to a unique Lucidpress webpage, share it on social media, or embed it in a website or email. Access all of these options by clicking Share at the top-right of your document.

To publish a Lucidpress document on the web, follow these steps:

1) Click "Share" at the top-right of your document.

2) Click "On the Web".

3) Enter a name for your document and select your desired security options (explained below).

4) Click "Publish" for a green banner to appear at the top of the dialog box letting you know that your document was successfully published.

5) If you would like to add a custom suffix to your link, select "Custom Link" and enter your desired suffix.

6) Click "Go to Link" to navigate to your document viewer or "Copy Link" to store it for pasting.

If you ever want to change the name or security settings of your published document, or unpublish, click "Settings".

Users can download as PDF:
If this is enabled, viewers will be able to download your document by clicking download_icon_doc_viewer.png at the bottom of the document viewer.


Hide Lucidpress Logo:
If this is not selected, the following logo will appear at the bottom left of your document viewer:

Include Social Sharing Menu: If this is enabled, viewers will be invited to share your document via email, facebook, twitter, linkedIn, or GSuite when they click social_sharing_icon_doc_viewer.png at the bottom of the document viewer.

Require Password:
Enable this option and create a password for your document to protect it from unwanted viewers. Viewers will not be able to navigate to your document unless they input the password you designate.

 

To visit your published document, click "Go to Link" or copy and paste the link into your browser. The document viewer will open in a new window.

At the bottom of this viewer is an options bar.

If your document is more than one page, you can toggle through the pages by clicking the right or left arrow in the middle of the bar.
You can also click doc_viewer_navigation_icon.png to pull up thumbnails of your pages that you can then navigate between.

Select doc_viewer_full_screen_mode_icon.png to view your document in full screen mode, and adjust the zoom of your document by clicking the plus or minus or dragging the blue dot along the zoom line.

 

To share a document on social media, follow these steps:
  1. Click "Share" at the top right of the canvas.
  2. Click "On Social Media".
  3. Publish your document to the web if you haven’t already.
  4. Click one of the social media logos, and follow the steps in the corresponding pop-up.
Lucidpress’ email sharing function allows you to insert a thumbnail of your document into an email program such as Constant Contact. Follow these steps to embed your document in an email:
  1. Click "Share" at the top right of the canvas.
  2. Click "In Email".
  3. Publish your document to the web if you haven’t already.
  4. Select a document size from the drop-down or fill in the width or height fields. See a preview of this size in the display below.
  5. Click "Generate Code".
  6. Copy and paste the code in its entirety into the HTML section of your email.
To embed your document in your website, follow these steps:
  1. Click "Share" at the top right of the canvas.
  2. Click "On your website".
  3. Publish your document to the web if you haven’t already.
  4. Select a document size from the drop-down or fill in the width or height fields. See a preview of this size in the display below.
  5. Click "Generate Code".
  6. Copy and paste the code in its entirety into the HTML section of your website.
